Every Child Deserves to Be Seen.
Every Family Deserves to Be Heard.
Resonant Vibe connects youth with mentors, empowers caregivers, and strengthens communities in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties.
Why We Started
When Big Brothers Big Sisters Southern Lake Michigan Region closed, it was devastating. There were many tears - from staff, from parents, from mentors. Everyone's question was: “What can we do?”
Parents shared inspiring stories: how the program had matched their children with incredible mentors who listened, encouraged, and believed in them. How bonds had formed that gave kids someone other than a parent to trust and confide in. There was also heartbreak - they were devastated by the fact that that their children's siblings would never have the same opportunity.
Mentors spoke of how the program had changed them, too - teaching them patience, empathy, and the incredible impact of simply showing up.
That's when it was decided: We can’t let this go.
Resonant Vibe was born from that moment. We knew we had to act - to keep mentorship alive, to support families, and to ensure our community didn’t lose the life-changing relationships that make it stronger.
